CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF GIVING

#GivingTuesday kicks off the holiday giving season, reminding us of the "reason for the season". It is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live, work, and play.

Beginning November 28th and continuing through the end of 2017, join the Community Foundation and GIVE LAKOTA by supporting the LEAF Endowment for Lakota Local Schools and the Reach Out Lakota Endowment!

The LEAF Endowment (Lakota Education and Alumni Fund) is building a sustainable source of funding to meet the needs of Lakota Local Schools today, and for future generations. The predecessor of the LEAF Endowment, the Lakota Fund, has awarded more than $60,000 in grants to support classroom projects and special programs at Lakota schools including educational iPad apps, after-school tutoring, early childhood music and art enrichment, and many others.

The Reach Out Lakota Endowment is investing in the future of the Lakota community to continue their mission of putting help and hope into the hands of those in need. For 25 years, Reach Out Lakota has served the West Chester/Liberty community through their food & clothing pantry, and special programming. ROL Lakota is 100% community-based and funded, which means an organizational endowment will be vital to future sustainability.
