Transferring a Private Foundation

Even if your client has already established a private foundation, they may want to examine the option of transferring the private foundation to an advised fund at the Community Foundation. By transferring the assets of a private foundation to The Community Foundation, your client may be able to make their charitable giving easier, more flexible and more effective while ensuring their mission, name and pattern of charitable giving are maintained in perpetuity.
