Leo’s Park

Leo's Park is the vision of Jeff and Susan Johnson, who lost their son Leo after a 2 year battle with leukemia in 2006. The family wanted to honor their son by creating a community space where resident could enjoy the outdoors and what nature has to offer. Over the  years, the family has worked to develop an outdoor space that would combine Leo's love of  nature, animals and the outdoors, the result is Leo's Park.

Upon Leo's death, friends and family made memorial contributions to a charitable fund at The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty. The money raised went  toward the development of the park that is now available for the entire community to enjoy. Additional upgrades and park features will continue as funding allows. Sponsorship of Tree's, benches and other park features of available.  For more information click here  or contact Melissa Benedict at 513-874-5450.
