Frozen Open to Benefit Heroes’ Fund

The 19th annual FROZEN OPEN Golf Tournament returns to Beckett Ridge GC on Saturday March 24th , 2012. 1,250 golfers have participated over the years and nearly $100,000 has been raised for various charitable endeavors. Just as in 2011, this year’s proceeds benefit The HEROES’ FUND at The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty.

The Heroes' Fund assists local combat veterans and/or their military families in financial crisis. This fund is available to qualified persons residing in Butler, Warren and Hamilton Counties or to non-profits serving this group of qualified residents.

Check-in starts at 10:00 am. Brunch will be served from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm. The shotgun start is at 11:30 am. Scramble foursomes will vie for the coveted “Chunk O’ Ice” trophies. Dinner, the awards presentation and an auction will follow golf. Prizes for on course contests will also be awarded.

The auction program will include golfing foursomes, merchandise, restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia, theatre tickets, cigars, wine and much more. The much anticipated and greatly enjoyed Raffle “card-drawing” will reward two of our intrepid players with wonderful gifts.
